Designed in collaboration with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, South Africa (CISL-SA), the programme provides participants with a foundation in systems thinking, complexity and place-based sustainability.
It’s ideal for school leaders and educational professionals looking to enhance sustainability leadership in their classrooms. The intensive course overlaps with the youth programme, providing opportunities for deeper engagement between youth and educators and strengthens commitment to take action.
Why You Should Attend
I would love my staff to be exposed to the teaching and learning practices I witnessed in a number of the sessions. I also enjoyed the opportunity to reflect and practice mindfulness. I loved the earth is amazing. The stark reality of understanding continual growth and its impact on the earth is important and needs to be communicated widely.Participant
The youth presentations & interaction was very good. Opening session was a rude awakening - very effective. The sessions on 21st Century education and impact were great.Participant
Setting the scene - essential to lay the ground work for the discussions ahead providing some very interesting insights. From principles to practice ... very useful.Participant
Although I have been aware of sustainability issues and work at bringing children closer to nature, this programme has touched my heart in an overwhelming and positive way.Participant
